Accessibility Statement
Last updated: April 2026
CourseKit aims to be usable by instructional designers, faculty, and course teams, including people who use keyboards, screen readers, zoom, and other assistive technologies.
Accessibility goal
CourseKit is built with semantic HTML, keyboard-accessible navigation where practical, visible focus styles, sufficient color contrast targets, and responsive layouts.
Current known limits
CourseKit is in active development. Some interactive report views, charts, generated previews, drag-and-drop upload areas, and exported files may need additional accessibility review. Automated scan results in CourseKit are not a statement that CourseKit itself, an uploaded course, or an exported report fully conforms to WCAG, ADA, PDF/UA, or institutional accessibility requirements.
Tool output limitations
Course Analyzer, Alt-Scan, and Question Bank Formatter provide review support only. They do not certify accessibility, verify WCAG conformance, determine ADA compliance, validate caption accuracy, or confirm that alt text is contextually appropriate.
Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, email victor@coursekit.tools with:
- the page or tool you were using,
- what you were trying to do,
- the assistive technology or browser involved if relevant,
- and any error message or screenshot you can share.
CourseKit will use accessibility feedback to prioritize fixes.
